Twice Exceptional Speech, Language & Educational Therapy

At Twice Exceptional, our philosophy of practice is to provide individualized, research-based speech, language, and educational therapy in a fun and functional way. We believe that therapy needs to be enjoyable and engaging, in order to support the hard work that goes into it. Furthermore, we believe that therapy needs to be accessible in order to affect change. We promote equal access to therapeutic services by clients of any economic status, and strive to accommodate students outside of school hours so that the course of therapy runs parallel to their schoolwork. Twice Exceptional is comprised of a team of therapists who collaborate on individualized treatment plans that are always scaffolded, introducing a variety of techniques that move students markedly toward their speech and learning goals and, ultimately, toward independence. Our highest aim is always to ensure that the progress a student makes in our office translates into their everyday life: into the home, the classroom, and consistently onward into the future.
